4. Add the beaten egg
5. The mixture will be very wet after egg has been added.. Pour in the breadcrumbs
6. Toss the chicken breast in the breadcrumbs until evenly coated
7. Let rest 20 minutes for breadcrumbs to stick to the chicken pieces
8. Heat oil in deep pan. Drop the pieces carefully into the oil. Don't stir them for a minute while they cook to prevent breadcrumbs coming off the chicken
9. Fry the popcorn chicken until golden brown
10. Remove and set on kitchen paper towel to drain off excess oil
11. You can dip the popcorn chicken in ketchup
